I have just had a call from Wanneroo City Council in regards to damage caused to Gumblossom Hall during Saturday 18th Feb's Bluelight Disco.
- There was paint peeled off of the wall in the boys toilet which is likely to cost in excess of $800 to repair.
- Wet toilet paper was thrown up onto the ceiling of the boys toilet at a cleaning cost of around $120.
- Glow sticks had been broken open and the liquid inside tipped onto clothing.
I have been told that if this occurs again we won't be able to hold the Disco at Gumblossom Hall so therefore the event will be closed down.
I am extremely disappointed at the behaviour of a few that could potentially ruin things for the 400 that behaved themselves and enjoyed the event. There will be no glow products available at future events.
The financial implications of having to pay in excess of $1000 in repairs and cleaning is huge and due to this it is likely that there will be no raffle prizes at the next disco.
